I went to the Frick Museum when I was in New York city. It was wonderful, but, as with any museum, I didn't get to see the up close detail in the paintings. Some of them I just couldn't get close enough to because of the large scale of it. Then, there just wasn't the time to indulge myself in viewing them like I wanted. For me, because of where I've lived, it's been a once in a life time experience to go to the Frick. There's other museums that I would love to visit as well. So, imagine not being able to travel to museums because of the lack of time or money. Enter Google Art Project. It's the answer to every artist's (and those who love art) dream.
