PAPER • This is the brand I use for my Lifebook. It's a canvas covered, hardbound book with 140 lb watercolor pages from the Jane Davenport collection. It's a great quality. But any 140 lb book will work. You can use less than 140 lbs but the lower the lbs number the less water the paper can handle.
BRUSHES • These are both great starter sets with some basic brushes that'll take you a long way. Start with the 10 pack round brushes. This gives a good size range so you can get a good feel. The 5 pack is a nice addition especially that liner (long, skinny) brush. The wide nylon brushes (3 pack) you don't need right away but they make it so much easier to do large washes for the whole page.
GEL PENS • This is the brand of gel pen that I often use.
MARKERS • These are the black marker pens I use. These are waterproof and they don't bleed through 140 lb paper
MISCELLANEOUS
