Meet FLOWER PRESS We had about 100 responses over all our socials on the fabric naming. So many creative people! "Flower Press" came from Sherry Wentrcek Kell over in the Facebook Quilting Group. That group was on fire with their naming game. I appreciate your "Flower Press" name Sherry, it's so perfect! I'll be sending you some of Flower Press for you to try out.
There are still several fabrics to name, see the fabrics in this post. I'll announce a new name tomorrow. Join our email list to be part of the journey.

One of the easiest ways for a company to keep track of their fabric is to number it. My collection is no exception. But that's really not a lot of fun. So I think the fabrics need names and I'd like your help naming them. In the comments, put the number and the name you've come up with. It's said that creativity takes courage. Be brave, put it out there. ME + YOU = Look What We Can Do!
This is my college girl's first Christmas that she'll be gone most of the season. I wanted her to have a little of home so I made her a Christmas Kit. It has her very own, grown up decorations. Inside the bag is a cute, pre-decorated tree and the hat box has other things to make the little apartment more Christmas-ey. Here's a little inspiration for you. A Table for Two. Setting a nice tablescape says, "something's different today." It could be someone, something, really anything that wants to be celebrated. We love when someone makes a special effort but often we don't do it because we lack the ideas, know how and time. I know the wish-I-could-do-that routine. I want to help make going the extra mile a little simpler. So, here's an idea - Tablescape Templates™. Tablescape, Gathering Guide & Placement Guide I've included 1) a photo of the Tablescape, 2) a Diagram of it, 3) a Gathering Guide List and 4) a Placement Guide. The nice thing is that any style and color can be applied. (If your style is Rustic, then metal pumpkins, daisies, and wheat grass. If it's Shabby Chic then weathered wood pumpkins, Baby's Breath flowers, and lace napkin.) Also the main centerpiece can be repeated several times to fill the length of a long table. The view from either end of the table is nice. ME + YOU = Look What We Can Do!
Try it out and #ShareItWithShannon If you'd like to have a downloadable version of the template, head on over here. Happy homes celebrate. Independence day is coming up and I have a pretty little DIY craft project for it. It's a beginners silver leaf USA map. It's super easy and you can get it done in about hour. Once you learn you can silver (or gold) leaf just about anything. If you want more instruction then you can go to one of my leafing classes on Skillshare here for leafing on canvas or here for leafing on paper. USA Silver Leafing Project Supplies:
